Lebo Elementary is a PreK - 6th grade building and has an enrollment of approximately 114 students.  There is one section of each grade in the building and  our class sizes range from 12 to 18.    We are proud to boast  a strong tradition of academic achievement.  Lebo Elementary has earned the high honors of "Standard of Excellence" from the State of Kansas for the past 5 years in both Reading and Math, and the Governor's Achievement Award for the 2012 year.

Coffey County Health Department will be conducting blood draw health screenings throughout the cities of Coffey County.  You don't have to be a Coffey County resident to participate.  A blood screen can help you learn more about your health and detect potential problems early when treatment or changes in personal habits can be most effective.  The blood screening is a chemistry profile.  It gives you information about your thyroid, blood sugar, heart, liver, kidney enzymes, complete CBC and more for $30.  Males can have their PSA checked for $15 and anyone concerned about diabetes can have their Hgb A1C checked for $15.  You must fast for 12 hours before having your blood drawn.  Drink plenty of water the day before and morning of your blood draw.  Black coffee is OK and you can take you medication if necessary.

The blood is sent to Physicians Reference Laboratory in Kansas City for analysis.  Results will be mailed you.  The results will give you and your doctor an indication of whether you need a further check-up.  Blood draws will be held at the Waverly Library on Tuesday, November 3, from 7:00am-9:00amLeRoy Library Tuesday, November 10, 7:00am-9:00amLebo Library, Tuesday, November 17, 7:00am-9:00am, and Gridley Library,Tuesday, November 24, 7:00am-9:00am.
